Canada got its first ever medal at Junior World Orienteering Championships, when the young promising Canadian Emily Kemp won bronze on the long distance race in Slovakia today. Kemp was 2.59 behind the winner, Kirsi Nurmi from Finland. Nurmi got a fourth place in the sprint yesterday. Yesterday’s bronze medallist, Frida Sandberg (SWE) was today second best.
