Simona Aebersold, Switzerland, and Olli Ojanaho, Finland both followed up their Middle distance golds winning also the Sprint at Junior World Orienteering Championships in Finland.

The European Orienteering Championships (EOC) is organised every year from 2020 and follows the opposite formats of WOC, which means even years EOC is a Classic Forest Event and in odd years a Sprint Event. EOC 2020 will also be the final World Cup Event in 2020.

Winner of the TempO competition, the ‘sprint’ form of TrailO, was Vetle Ruud Bråten, Norway competing in his first international TempO final. Norway also took the silver medal.
