JWOC: Aebersold and Ojanaho win Middle distance

Simona Aebersold, Switzerland, and Olli Ojanaho, Finland, won today’s Middle distance at Junior World Orienteering Championships in Tampere, Finland.
The Middle distance was the first final race at Junior World Orienteering Championships in Finnish Tampere. Both winners have routine and gold medals from earlier championships; Simona Aebersold from Switzerland and Olli Ojanaho from Finland.
Aebersold won the women’s race with a margin of +1:14. Swedish Linnea Golsater was second and Veera Klemettinen, Finland third.
Finland took two medals with Olli Ojanaho on top of the podium. He was +1:21 faster than Audun Heimdal, Norway. Simon Imark, Sweden was third.
