Hana Dolezalova returns to the country where, in 2010, she suffered a serious accident during the World MTB Orienteering Championships. She was back then injured for life and had no chance to come back to mountain bike orienteering. But now she is back. Always with the colours of the Czech Republic, her main goals seem to be to finish the race and say: “I’m satisfied!”

Spain is in the spotlight this weekend when two World Cup races will be held near Cehegín in the Murcia region of the country. Athletes from 23 nations will compete in a Long and a Middle Distance race.

Our Athlete of April is an Orienteering World Champion, who, as he himself puts it “was always good at orienteering but never good at running”. Last time he competed in foot orienteering was at the age of sixteen, since the courses started then to get longer and playing football started to take a lot of his time. So how come he is a multiple World Champion now?
