World Trail Orienteering Championships, TempO event: Pinja Mäkinen has clear victory

Pinja Mäkinen, Finland was the clear winner of the TempO final this afternoon, beating Sweden’s Marit Wiksell by a time difference of 70 seconds. The bronze medallist was the very experienced Finn Lauri Kontkanen.
From a qualification event this morning the best 24 went through to the final. This is the first time that the fully-timed form of TrailO has been an integral part of WTOC with medals awarded.
