The World Ski Orienteering Championships 2017 will take place in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, 7 – 12 March 2017. The event serves as a test event for the upcoming Winter Universiade. Krasnoyarsk city will also host the Winter Universiade 2019, where ski orienteering is included in the programme as an optional sport.
