World Orienteering Championships on TV in USA

The World Orienteering Championships in Vuokatti, Finland, 6-14 July, will be broadcasted live by YLE , and shown on TV at least in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and Latvia. But now there is one more country that will be able to watch the Championships on TV: the United States of America. Universal Sports Network will show orienteering for American viewers for the first time in history.
The Network has the rights to show the material until May 2014, so most likely orienteering will be seen on American TV more than just once. The contacts with the Universal Sports Network were first made at the SportAccord Convention.
