World Masters Orienteering Championships: Simone Niggli double champion

The Long Distance Final took place near Gothenburg, Sweden yesterday, with class winners from six nations in all – France, Finland, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. Simone Niggli, Switzerland was one of six athletes who won both the Sprint and Long titles.
Oldest champions are Astrid Andersson in W90 and Rune Haraldsson in M95, both from Sweden. Tightest victory was that by August Grüniger, Switzerland who won M80 by 11 seconds.
