World Cup in Ski O: Additional sprint race in Latvia / Amended World Cup total score calculation

The Ski Orienteering Commission (SOC) has discussed several different ways of replacing the cancelled races of the first World Cup round in Finland and concluded that the only viable option would be to add a sprint race to the programme of the second World Cup round in Latvia. The organisers have declared themselves willing to put on an additional race.
The SOC and the Rules Commission have agreed that the World Cup total score calculation be amended as follows:
Relay: two out of two relay events shall count for the total score.
Individual: six out of eight races shall count for the total score.
