WOC Special Rules updated

The IOF Council has at its meeting on August 3rd approved an update to the WOC special rules. The change is related to how the allocation of starting spots is calculated for the middle and long distance finals, i.e. the calculation of federation points and corresponding allocation of federations to divisions. This change corrects an unfairness in the calculation system. The updated rules will be applied to the results of previous WOCs and will be used for the allocaton of starting spots from WOC 2016 in Sweden. Link to the complete updated rules document.
