WOC in the Future news

Following the decisions at the 2010 IOF General Assembly in Trondheim, Norway, the IOF Council appointed a project group to deal with the matter of the future World Orienteering Championships (WOC) programme. The group presented an intermediate report to the IOF Council at its meeting in Helsinki in January.
The project group has concluded on a few principles to guide the forming of the new programme. The principles have now been published on the WOC in the Future page. National federations have been approached and asked to give feedback on the issue. The matter will then be on the agenda of the Presidents’ Conference in France in August 2011.
