WOC in the Future

At its meeting in Helsinki, Finland, the IOF Council discussed the current status of the WOC in the Future project.
A draft proposal was presented and discussed with the national federations at the Presidents’ Conference in August in France. Based on the opinions expressed at the Presidents’ Conference, the Council decided to update the proposal and send it to the national federations for comments. The proposal with background information will be circulated in early November, and the national federations are asked to send their feedback to the IOF by no later than 15 January 2012.
The proposed programme will include the following formats: Sprint, Sprint Relay, Middle, Long, and Relay.
