Will Minna make it to the World Orienteering Championships?

One of the history’s most successful female athletes in orienteering might not be able to participate in the World Orienteering Championships this year. “We’ll have to see but hopefully I can make it to France”, Minna Kauppi says.
Kauppi was only a spectator at the first World Cup race as she has been sick for five weeks now. It started with pneumonia. “Now I am not sick and not well. My heart is bumping too much”, she explains.
Last year in Trondheim Minna won two gold medals – one individual in the Middle distance and one in the relay.
