“We have so much fun”

The Swedish junior girls impressed a lot during JWSOC in Norway, and also after the relay their faces were like they almost always were.
On the Middle Distance it was a triple for Sweden in the junior women’s class. There was no doubt about who were the favourites for the relay, but Sweden ended as number three.
“We had so much fun”, smiles Ellen Särenmark. She says that she and Isabel Salén the day earlier had said that an important part of the Swedish success was that the team had so much fun together.
The three girls that took the three best positions on the Middle, where Isabel took her second gold, are studying at two different orienteering gymnasiums, but they know each other from camps and training sessions. “We know each well and have a nice time together and are doing things in common”.
