Updated Conflicting dates policy

The IOF Conflicting dates policy has been updated, following a decision in March 2017 to perform a review. Consultation with the discipline commissions and other relevant stakeholders was conducted during the spring and summer and a new version was decided upon at the Council meeting in Stockholm in mid-October. The new policy makes Event planning easier, and contains an appendix with the IOF Event Period Calendar for Foot Orienteering Events. The Calendar is a good tool to use for Organisers and Federations to plan applications and find out possible and impossible periods for IOF Foot Orienteering Events.

How to plan and manage event dates and Event applications?
Another key document to be used for federations when applying for events and planning possible dates or periods is the new IOF Events Application Overview 2018 – 2022.
The two referenced documents can be found under each discipline section under Event Organising/Event applications, where you can also find all relevant application forms for each event that are open for application.
