Successful Event Advisers’ clinics this summer

IOF Foot Orienteering Event Advisers’ Clinics have been successfully organised in Pecs, Hungary; Curitiba/Parana, Brazil and Bollnäs/Mohed, Sweden this summer. The clinics had altogether 75 participants from 16 different countries including Australia, Japan, Serbia, Argentina, Moldova and Belgium.
The purpose of IOF Event Advisers’ clinics is to train and recruit new IOF licensed Event Advisers the main responsibility of which is to control all aspects of event organising. It is important for the IOF to constantly train new people in order to guarantee high level of international events in both mature and developing orienteering countries. The clinics introduce to the participants the IOF, IOF events and the specifics of event advising work.
