The fourth IOF High Level Event Seminar will be organised 4-5 February 2012 in Venice, Italy. The High Level Event Seminars are planned for organisers, potential future organisers and other key persons of IOF High Level Events. This year’s special focus is on the World Championships, and amongst the Seminar participants there are organisers from all upcoming World Orienteering Championships (2012-2015), as well as from two World Trail Orienteering Championships, and from the candidate for World Orienteering Championships 2016.
“This is the strongest start field ever for the seminar”, says seminar leader IOF Sports Director Björn Persson.
This year’s topics include, amongst others, project management, building a World Championships organisation, time planning and IT and television matters.
The previous IOF High Level Event Seminars were held in Norway (2009), Switzerland (2010), and Czech Republic (2011).
