Henning Sjökvist has grown up

Posted on | February 11, 2015 | Category: Arena

This year Henning Sjökvist is taking part in his second European Youth Championships, and there is a difference from last time.

He won the Sprint at Budor in Norway and was 1 minute and 49 seconds faster than the second one. “One year ago I also took part, but it didn’t go well at all, but I learnt a lot by taking part”, he says. Today he had of course a very good race.

The 17-year-old Swede is in daily life a pupil at the ski orienteering high school in Mora in Sweden. “It’s very good to be there. Well-organised training and good advice from the trainers”.

Mora is in the district of Dalarna and he’s living in Mora during school time. He is from Borlänge, which also is in Dalarna. His club is Stora Tuna IK.
