Qualification Race Start List Program

The IOF has published a computer program, which organisers of major IOF events can use to perform the start draw for Qualification Races.
In a Qualification race, the competitors are allocated randomly to one of three heats. Each heat will run a slightly different course. Three runners start together on a minute, each running a different heat. The team managers can specify which of their runners should start in the Early, Middle and Late start blocks. The runners from one federation must be spread across the start blocks.
Now organisers can easily carry out this rather complex start draw according to the rules without having to write their own computer program. The download in the Document library includes the program (an Excel spreadsheet with a Macro) and an explanatory document. The spreadsheet includes realistic sample data.
