Promotional orienteering event at the Mediterranean Games 2013

Turkey will be hosting the XVII Mediterranean Games at the end of this month, 20-30 June, in the city of Mersin in Southern Turkey. The Mediterranean Games are a multi-sports games organised every four years among the Mediterranean countries following the rules and spirit of the Olympic Games. This time orienteering will also be present as a promotional event titled Sprint Orienteering – Race to the Olympics on 22 June thanks to the efforts of the Confederation of Mediterranean Orienteering Federations (COMOF) and the Turkish Orienteering Federation.
