Nokian Tyres new sponsor of the IOF

The IOF has signed a three-year sponsorship contract with Nokian Tyres. Nokian Tyres is a Finland-based tyre company that focuses on customer needs in Northern conditions. It is market leader in the Nordic countries and Russia, and growing strongly in Central Europe and North America.
The company supplies innovative tyres for cars, trucks and special heavy machinery mainly in areas with special challenges for tyre performance: snow, forests and harsh driving conditions in different seasons. Nokian Tyres develops its products aiming at sustainable safety and environmental friendliness throughout the life cycle of the product.
The contract will offer Nokian Tyres visibility in World Cup events and at the World Orienteering Championships, and in IOF communications. Nokian Tyres will be the title sponsor for the World Orienteering Championships 2016 and 2017.
