Mozambique an IOF member

At its meeting last weekend, the IOF Council approved an application for associate membership from Mozambique.
The current IOF membership is now 68.
Poland was appointed organiser of the inaugural Junior World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships, 2008. The event centre will be Stare Jablonki in the Ostróda area.
The IOF Council released a Code of Ethics. The code comprises four principles: equality, fair play, respect and integrity. It expresses the IOF’s commitment to the highest standards of conduct in sport administration and competition.
At a combined meeting of Council and Commissions, President Åke Jacobson welcomed ten new commission members including two new chairmen, Ole Husen (Mountain Bike Orienteering Commission) and Markku Vauhkonen (Ski Orienteering Commission).
