Middle distance qualification the first race at the European Championships

The European Orienteering Championships started with Middle Distance qualification in Portugal today.
Unfortunately there were several protests against the control placings after the race, and also against the decision on the result lists.
The jury will consider the protests in detail and report on Friday afternoon. Therefore, the result lists from Thursday are only provisional until then. The Middle distance final will take place on Monday.
The European Championships continue on Friday with the Long distance qualification race.
