Kyburz: Looking forward to city Sprints

In Oslo there were two very hilly races in the World Cup. For the next race it will be flatter and a more urban environment.
“Races of the type coming up normally suit me a bit better”, Kyburz says. He won the Sprint at WOC in Lausanne where the final was in the central part of the town.
The young and smiling Swiss star has impressed a lot in Oslo because it has been very Nordic terrain, with a lot of blueberries, soft ground and also marshes and quite steep, but of course it can also be really steep in Switzerland.
Kyburz was second in the first NORT race and third in the Middle Distance today. In the total standings for the Nordic Tour he is number three, just 37 seconds after Lundanes and three seconds after Gueorgiou, and Kyburz is a candidate for an overall victory both in NORT and the World Cup.
“There is a chance!” he says.
Matthias Kyburz is doing very well in the Nordic Tour, and he is a hard challenger for Olav Lundanes in the fight for overall victory both in the World Cup and NORT.
