Krasnoyarsk prepares for the World Ski Orienteering Championships

The city of Krasnoyarsk in Russia is actively getting ready to host the 22nd World Ski Orienteering Championships. The competitions will be held in the terrain surrounding the Biathlon Academy, 5-13 March, 2017. The strongest athletes from all over the world will compete for medals in relays and individual races. Krasnoyarsk residents and guests of the city will witness the exciting competitions between the world’s best Ski Orienteers.
Online ticket sales for the event has been launched. The e-tickets are available for purchase at the official websites of the Winter Universiade Krasnoyarsk 2019, World Ski Orienteering Championships and the ticket operator.
As the competitions get closer, the number of partners and sponsors is growing. WSOC2017 will also serve as the first test event as part of the preparations for the Winter Universiade 2019. To promote the event, the Winter Universiade 2019 branded aircraft, painted in the brand colors and logos of the upcoming event, was recently presented in Krasnoyarsk. The branded aircraft is the “flying” trademark of the Winter Universiade 2019 and Krasnoyarsk Region.
