Junior World Championships: Double Czech gold in relay

Women’s and men’s teams from the Czech Republic were winners of the last race of the championships, the relay. Finland and Sweden took silver and bronze in the women’s race, and in the men’s race Sweden took silver and Russia bronze.

After much exciting competition and some sprint finishes, the home nation at the Junior World Orienteering Championships came out victorious in both races, much to the delight of the host organisers as the whole race was being broadcast live on Czech TV.
