IOF internal documents revision
Posted on | September 1, 2017 | Category: News

The IOF Ethics Commission is conducting a consultation regarding an intended revision of IOF internal documents and working processes.
The aim with the revision is to review the IOF internal documents and working processes and propose possible amendments from the point of view of ethical and other principles contained in the IOF Code of Ethics.
Before the review process starts the IOF Ethics Commission is doing a consultation about documents that need to be reviewed and matters that need to be considered. The consultation has been sent out to all member federations and to the entire IOF organisation.
The following documents will be reviewed:
- IOF Statutes;
- IOF Code of Ethics;
- Conflict of Interests Policy and Declaration of Interests;
- IOF Rules on Advertising;
- How the IOF works – for Members;
- Working within the IOF – for Council and Commission Members, IOF staff and volunteers
The IOF Strategic Directions and Activity Plan are not currently a part of the Ethics Commission review, since the IOF Council is actively working on these documents for the next strategic period from 2018 – 2024. Consultation on these documents and plans will be addressed directly by Council.
