IOF Honorary Member Heinz Tschudin has passed away

On February 18, 2016, IOF Honorary Member Heinz Tschudin passed away after a short illness. Heinz Tschudin was heavily engaged in the foundation of the Swiss Orienteering Federation, and served as President of the International Orienteering Federation from 1988 to 1994.
The 78-year-old Tschudin, as President of the association OL-Geschichte, oversaw with skill the historical Archives of the Association.
The memorial service took place at his request within the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that the deceased be remembered with a donation in support of Médecins sans frontières.
