IOF High Level Event Seminar 2012 in Venice, Italy

The International Orienteering Federation, in cooperation with the Italian Orienteering Federation, is pleased to announce the IOF High Level Event Seminar to be held in the Mestre area of Venice during 4-5 February 2012.
This year’s IOF High Level Event Seminar will be the forth in a row: the earlier editions were organised in Norway (2009), Switzerland (2010), and Czech Republic (2011). IOF High level Event Seminars target appointed and potential future organisers as well as key persons of IOF High Level Events including the appointed IOF Senior Event Advisers. The national orienteering federations are kindly asked to identify and enter suitable candidates.
The focus for IOF High Level Event Seminars is on event organising at the highest international level. The theme for the 2012 High Level Event Seminar in Venice will be World Championships, and among the lecturers will be the central leaders of earlier World Championships projects as well as IOF Senior Event Advisers.
Please mark your calendars for the IOF High Level Event Seminar in Venice, 4-5 February 2012. A detailed invitation with programme and entry forms will be published during November 2011.
