IOF Global Development and Communications Officer appointed

Malin Björkqvist will be taking on the position of Global development and Communications Officer in the IOF office starting November 1, 2015. Malin resides in Falun, Sweden and has degrees both in sports administration and journalism. She has worked internationally with time spent in the USA, Austria and Spain so she will be an asset to the IOF organisation with both language and communication skills. Prior to joining the IOF she comes from a Journalist position with the Swedish Orienteering Federations’ magazine Skogssport.
Malin will be sharing her time supporting the growth of orienteering globally and leading the IOFs communication activities. She will start November 1st 2015.
