IOF Council and Commissions meet

The traditional Joint Meeting of IOF Council and Commissions takes place this weekend in Vantaa, Finland. All IOF Commissions, with the exception of Ski Orienteering Commission, will meet during the weekend in Finland. The Ski Orienteering Commission has traditionally a separate meeting as the ski orienteering season has just begun.
The IOF Council and the Commissions hold their own meetings on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, there is a Joint Meeting on Saturday morning. This year the topics at the Joint Meeting include Strategic Directions 2012-2018, Rules project, WOC in the Future, TV production in orienteering (with Czech TV producer Karel Jonak as guest speaker), and Orienteering and the Environment.
