Invitation to the IOF Ski Orienteering Event Advisers’ Clinic in S-chanf, Switzerland, 16-17 January 2008

This Ski Orienteering Event Advisers’ Clinic is organised for the education and recruitment of new IOF licensed Event Advisers. The national orienteering federations are kindly asked to identify and enter suitable candidates.
In addition to individuals seeking to obtain an IOF Event Adviser licence, the Ski Orienteering Commission also welcomes to the clinic team leaders and athletes interested in acquainting themselves with the Competition Rules for IOF Ski Orienteering Events and other ski orienteering related matters.
Organiser: The IOF Ski Orienteering Commission
Date: Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 January 2008
Venue:At the World Cup Ski Orienteering Event Centre in S-chanf. The concrete place will be announced on spot.
Accommodation: At the World Cup Ski Orienteering event centre and in surrounding villages. For detailed information on the available types of accommodation, please consult the event website at http://www.skiolem08.ch/english/index.php and make your booking with the event organiser.
Programme: The clinic programme will consist of two parts. On 16th January all participants are expected to observe World Cup event and activities, if possible starting already at team leaders’ meeting the day before. The second part on 17th January will consist of lectures, discussions and group work. Detailed time table and programme will be provided on the spot.
