Historic medal for Ukraine

Nadiya Volynska has done something no woman from Ukraine has done earlier. “It’s great with the silver medal”, Nadiya smiles.
She is the first woman from Ukraine to take a medal at WOC in foot-orienteering. In central Inverness she got the medal on Monday afternoon. Now she is looking for much more. “I will take part in all the coming races”.
– Oh, that must use some energy?
“Yes, I am glad for the days without races, like Monday”. Also Thursday is a day without a race.
The Ukrainian has for a couple of years had the dream of taking a medal. “Now I hope to also get a medal in the forest”.
Like a lot of others, she hasn’t been so much on training camps in Scotland. There was one last year.
