Gueorgiou – two more years

Thierry Gueorgiou wasn’t sure that he would continue his career, after his tremendous results in the World Championships on his home soil, but now he has made a decision.
“At the moment I am planning to go on for two more years, until the Championships in Finland”, he says. The ‘French phantom’ was fourth in the final race in the World Cup and took second place overall behind Daniel Hubmann.
“You have really won a lot. What was it that made you decide to go on for two more years?”
“This autumn I have spent a month in Finland and taken part in the Finnish Championships. I have been in some nice terrain. It isn’t far from Joensuu where my club Kalevan Rasti is situated, and to Vuokatti where the Championships will be. So there will be plenty of opportunity to make good preparation”, he says.
Thierry Gueorgiou is looking forward to the World Championships 2013.
