Gueorgiou – best form since the World Championships

Thierry Gueorgiou had an incredible World Championships on home ground. Now he has got his winning speed back again.
“It had been hard to get motivation again after the Championships week, but yesterday I felt that my body was really good. So I am in my best shape since the Championships”, he says.
The middle phantom isn’t really sure how good his form really is. “Since the Championships my weight has also increased a kilo or two. On long distance, one kilo extra is normally one minute extra”, he says.
He doesn’t believe he can win the World Cup overall. The gap is too big. “But I will do my best and I look forward to the last race of the season”, he says.
Thierry Gueorgiou won the middle distance race in front of Daniel Hubmann and Fabian Hertner.
