IOF President Brian Porteous (to the right) asking about Scott’s plans for the sprint.
Scott Fraser is most likely ending his competition season on Sunday. Before that he is favourite to win one, if not two, medals at The World Games. “The sprint terrain suits me”, Scott says, “so I am definitely going for a medal there.”
Scott has had problems with a toe injury, and he is still not fully recovered. Therefore he will most likely not participate in the middle distance on Saturday, but concentrate on the relay on Sunday instead. The British team has been very strong in sprint this year, and according to several sources they have very good chances in the relay. When asked why they are so good at sprint, Scott says “We don’t have that much forest in Britain, but we have lots of sprint maps. We have trained sprint a lot lately.”
