ESOC is coming up
Posted on | February 28, 2016 | Category: News
The Swedish ski orienteer Erik Rost took five of five possible victories in the Ski Orienteering World Cup round 2 in Germany recently. Winning the overall World Cup is his main goal this season and all races in ESOC are important in the World Cup.
– I am really looking forward to the championships. It looks like they have got a lot of snow and I think the conditions will be good, Erik Rost says.
He is hoping for challenging courses and difficulties made by the course setters. To be able to achieve his main goal this season, winning the overall World Cup, he needs to perform well in all races. The successful World Cup round in Germany has given Erik a good position in the World Cup, right now in top with 305 points. Eduard Khrennikov, Russia, is second with 262 points.
– ESOC is an important part of the World Cup and you probably need podium places in every race to be able to win the overall World Cup, Erik says.
