Double Norway victories in ECTO
Posted on | August 18, 2015 | Category: News

Two legs of ECTO took place in Bollnäs Sweden during the weekend 15-16 August. Both legs were arranged in the “deep forest” in the county of Hälsingland with lots of details in the terrain. This was a challenge for the competitors and no one managed to score full points either of the days and it was not surprising that the Nordic countries managed best in their home terrain.
On Saturday Lars Jakob Waaler Norway and three other competitors managed to score 19 out of 20 controls right. Lars Jakob was fastest at the timed controls and took the first place before Ola Jansson Sweden, Ari Tertsunen Finland and, Robert Jakobsson Sweden.
At Sunday there was again a Norwegian in top, Sigurd Dæhli but he had to share the victory with Erik Stålnacke Sweden as both scored 22 correct controls out of 23 and both had 16 seconds at the three timed controls. Ones again Ari Tertsunen Finland took the third place.
The final round of ECTO 2015 will take place in the Czech Republic in mid-September.
