Daniel Hubmann: New life, same result

For Daniel Hubmann life has changed a lot during the last weeks, but the position in the results is just like it used to be at the end of the World Cup.
For some years the World Cup has had the final round in Switzerland. Almost every year Hubmann has shown strength. What he has to say after the first individual race in Arosa is quite the same as he has said at previous World Cup finals in Switzerland.
– It was a really good race. I was focused and had good speed.
He won the very tough 12,5 kilometre long distance race with more than two minutes before the Norwegian Carl Godager Kaas.
Even if a lot was the same there is also a very big change in the life of the incredible Swiss sportsman.
Just in the middle of the time between WOC in Scotland and the final rond of World Cup he and wife Annette become parents to their first child. Lina was born September 9th.
– Life has changes. It’s great. But still I can do my training.
– You’re sleeping during nights?
– Annette is taking care of Lina during the nights. I can get my sleep, the Swiss star smiles.
