Council discussed WOC qualification model

The IOF Council discussed the WOC qualification model today. You can find background information on the process on the WOC in the Future page.
The Council decided to remove the proposed requirement for the division three runners to have a minimum of 500 World Ranking points to be entitled to start on middle and long distance.
Other than that, the Council did not make any significant changes to the proposal.
The matter will next be taken to the Presidents’ Conference in July for discussion. After the Presidents’ Conference, the Council takes the final decision on the qualification model.
