Matthias Kyburz was nominated for The World Games Athlete of the Year 2017 award!
Swiss orienteer won all three races at The World Games 2013 in Cali, Colombia and he was one of the favourites in Wroclaw as well. He finished “only” third in the opening Sprint, but recovered quickly and won the Middle distance.

In connection with the World Ranking Events held in the Guangdong province of China last week, the Orienteering Association of China and the International Orienteering Federation reached an agreement to organize the final round of the Orienteering World Cup in 2019.
