A successful event advisers clinic was held in Antalya, Turkey, 22-23 February 2011. The clinic was lead by IOF Foot Orienteering Commission member Unni Strand-Karlsen. Tatiana Kalenderoglu, Turkey, was the other main lecturer at the clinic.
The clinic topics included information about the IOF, about IOF Events, and IOF Event Adviser work. An IOF Event Adviser controls all aspects of event organising, and the clinic dealt with matters such as controlling course planning, competition rules and Leibnitz convention, practical planning of a World Ranking Event, and jury work.

Clinic participants in Turkey 22-23 February.
The participants, 13 altogether, found the clinic very interesting and useful. Notable is that for the first time in IOF Event Adviser clinic history, there was a participant from Barbados taking part at the clinic. Barbados became IOF member in 2010 and has also entered a team to the World Orienteering Championships in France.
