Azerbaijan IOF member No. 74

The IOF Council has approved the membership application from the Orienteering Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This means that the IOF now has 74 members.
The Orienteering Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and has been registered at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2011. The federation organises national orienteering championships, and it recently organised a multi-day event called Geydar Aliev Cup. In conjunction with the cup the federation also held a development seminar for coaches and officials.
