Athlete Licence Update prior to the MTBO and FootO World Cup Round 1 in May
Posted on | April 7, 2016 | Category: News

The Athletes’ Licence was introduced in Nov 2015 and requires all Athletes that participate in World Cups and Senior World Championships to sign an application form and pay an annual licence fee. All details are found here.
Today the IOF introduced a new list of all licenced athletes, which can be found in IOF Eventor/Athlete licences. On this list you can also see if the athlete has a registered signed application and/or a registered payment. If anything is wrong in this list or you miss anything, please contact the IOF Office on iof@orienteering.org.
Prepare for WCups now
In order to be prepared and licenced for the first World Cups in MTBO and FootO we ask all Federations, Team Managers and Athletes to prepare by doing the following:
- Inform all active and potential WCup Athletes to Sign the form and send in to IOF Office. This can be done now, well in advance, regardless of whether she or he will be an actual WCup Athlete.
- Pay the annual Licence fee when applicable, at the latest 10 days before the Event, when National Team Managers have decided the Team members.
