06/08/2013 || First WMOC medals decided in the urban Sprint in Sestriere ||News||
The first final of the World Masters Orienteering Championships 2013, Sprint, took place yesterday in Italy at the heart of the Olympic Mountains. The competitors fought over medals in the narrow streets and small parks of Sestriere village located 2000 m above sea level and only 17 km from the French boarder.

Matthias Kyburz took another convincing victory at The World Games in Cali, Colombia, today. An amazing 1:37 min gap on the middle distance to the silver medallist Daniel Hubmann was a surprise event to the winner himself.

The World Games sprint was held in the popular park El Ingenio in Cali, Colombia. Annika Billstam, Sweden, and Matthias Kyburz, Switzerland, were the clear winners on the long but fast sprint courses.
