29 nations have Middle distance qualifiers

There will be 29 nations represented in the Middle distance Final, of which only 4 have six runners qualified. They are Finland, Norway, Switzerland and Sweden. Four more nations have all but one of their runners through: Austria, Denmark, Latvia and Lithuania.
China, Croatia, Germany, New Zealand and Slovakia have a runner qualified for the Middle final where they had none for the Long final, whereas for Ireland, Portugal and USA it is the other way round.
So 32 IOF member nations have runners qualified for the final of one or other, or both of the ‘forest’ individual formats.
