27 nations in Long distance final

27 nations will be represented in the Long distance final on Thursday. Five of these – CZE, NOR, RUS, SUI and SWE – have the maximum number of runners through the qualification and in the Final; in the case of Sweden, this means 7 runners rather than 6 because the defending women’s champion, Annika Billstam, has an individual entry.
Six nations will have just one runner in the final. They are CAN, ESP, IRL, POR, ROU and USA.
