27 Nations at World MTB Orienteering Championships in Poland

A total of 27 nations will be represented when the 6th World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships get under way in the Mazurian Highlands, Poland on 24th August. At the same time, 113 athletes from 20 nations compete in the first Junior World Mountain Bike Orienteering Championships.
The terrain type in the Mazurian Highlands is hilly, with many forest tracks and paths and some little lakes. The sprint is organised in a more urban terrain with many streets and pavements.
Programme:
Sunday 24th August: Arrival, Model
Monday 25th August: Model, Sprint, Opening ceremony
Tuesday 26th August: Middle final
Wednesday 27th August: Long qualification
Thursday 28th August: Rest day
Friday 29th August: Long final
Saturday 30th August: Relay, Closing ceremony; Banquet
Sunday 31st August: Departure
