Orienteering World Cup kicks off on Thursday 16 June, when the first stage of the Nordic Orienteering Tour takes place in Porvoo, Finland. There is live TV broadcast from the event, and the Finnish Broadcast Company YLE provides the live broadcast also online.

The International Military Sports Council (CISM) has decided to include ski orienteering in the 2nd CISM Winter Military World Games in Annecy-Chamonix, France, 24-30 March 2013.

Tove Alexandersson was voted with a huge majority to Athlete of June. And no wonder: Like our Athlete of March, Olli-Markus Taivainen (FIN), also Tove has managed to become senior World Champion while still in junior class.
