Hans Jørgen Kvåle, Norway and Anton Foliforov, Russia both clocked the fastest time in the men’s Sprint today, 21.46. The women’s gold medal was won by Marika Hara, Finland.

The first event in this year’s MTBO Championships in Poland was a non-medal race – a mixed sprint relay, won by Russia by a convincing margin of 1 minute and 15 seconds over France.
